2017 brings with it new and exciting times here at Hilton Process. This year, in May sees our 4th successful apprentice finish his apprenticeship and will become a fully skilled Fabricator. All our past apprentices have been successfully employed by Hilton Process and have since integrated successfully into the company in both the design and fabrication departments, we pride ourselves on this fact.
Sept 2016 saw 3 new apprentices employed, following their initial basic training at college, they are due to start in the workplace in March 2017. We are very proud of our history of investing in our future, as well as the future of British Engineering.
We realised at a very early stage of our company development that the void in the skill sets we require to undertake our day to day core business is huge. The lack of skills in the marketplace, the varied skill sets required, combined with the wide range of manufactured products and services we offer, prompted us to make the decision to employ 2 mechanical engineering apprentices and 1 fabrication apprentice. With structured mentoring and planning, we are certain all 3 will become fully qualified and successful in their chosen area of engineering and will shortly become assets to our continually expanding business.
